the Curator of Unorthodox Sweets
Miss Chippy Gourmet Cookies was founded in 2015 by creative strategist [and serial entrepreneur], Nicole Johnson. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Nicole made the decision to launch Miss Chippy Gourmet Cookies so that she would have a viable stream of income while building her brand as a Business Development consultant.
The G O U R M E T.™ component of our business is an ever evolving passion. We are continuously developing recipes that incorporate layers of flavor. We strive to appeal to gourmet palates while sharing our passion for creating unorthodox sweets. This includes the use of a variety of ingredients to accommodate alternative dietary restrictions. Ranging from Keto friendly, to Gluten Free, and even Vegan, our NO SWEET TOOTH LEFT BEHIND movement is very flexible.
The driving force behind the many facets of Miss Chippy Gourmet Cookies, from inception, has always been to establish a conglomerate that can demonstrate how effective business strategies can increase the scalability of any company or organization. One of the ways we have been able to execute our plan is by creating innovative marketing and social media trends to increase brand awareness and further establish a unique footprint in the marketplace. As a result of our collaborative efforts, in 2019 Miss Chippy Gourmet Cookies was featured on WGN‘s Lunch Break segment. We also partnered with the AC Green Show. This led to us participating in the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Sista Strut, sponsored by iHeart Radio.
Our goal is to continue creating opportunities through our food entrepreneur and business development ventures. We have joined with Aunt Martha as a CYEP Partner which serves the young adults ages 16-24 to provide work experience, training and mentorship. The goal is to build our brand and share our resources with others who are a part of the ever-expanding community of entrepreneurs. We believe this is what makes us valuable and keeps us all connected.
“If the road to greatness has to be paved ONE COOKIE CRUMB AT A TIME, then so be it!”
